EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Maslow Academy of Applied Learning is looking for an Executive Director to lead our organization into its next chapter. The Maslow Academy of Applied Learning is an educational partnership between master teachers, involved families, and children who challenge one another to grow through experiential and applied learning. The executive director is responsible for overseeing two early childhood education sites, Maslow Academy and Bright Beginnings at Colorado Outdoors, each run by a highly experienced Site Director. In addition to infant/toddler and preschool programs, Maslow Academy also offers a K-3 elementary program, afterschool program and summer camp for older learners. Job duties include overseeing organizational budget and fundraising, board relations, overseeing human resources for both teams, managing site directors and leadership teams, developing professional development strategy, working with the board to develop and work towards long-term strategic growth and vision, and working with partners and regulatory bodies to maintain Maslow’s excellent reputation and quality ratings.
The ideal candidate has experience leading organizations through a mission-focused lens, with a strong sense of vision and the ability to manage a large staff. At Maslow our ethos is one of empathy, a growth mindset and the ability to elevate our team of leaders and educators alike. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with children and families, non-profit fundraising, organizations with multiple programs/business lines, candidates with educational experience, and those who have experience utilizing technology effectively within small organizations. Additional consideration will be given to those with experience working in small rural communities/knowledge of the local community, those with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, those with familiarity with highly regulatory environments, and bilingual candidates.
Full-Time
$70,000-90,000 annual salary

TEACHERS AND SUBSTITUTES
The Maslow Academy of Applied Learning and Bright Beginnings at Colorado Outdoors are always accepting applications for highly qualified early childhood and elementary educators. We are looking for people passionate about individualized, hands-on learning in a multi-age environment. We also provide training on site that can help those looking to change their career and acquire teaching credentials.
There are opportunities for classroom lead teachers, classroom assistant teachers, as well as art, music, gardening, and P.E. teachers. Be part of an innovative educational partnership of master teachers, involved families, and reflective learners who challenge one another to grow through experiential and applied learning.
We are also always looking and accepting applications for quality substitute teachers.
